Charities and Non-Profit Organisations we work with

Charities

Air Ambulance Charity Kent Surrey Sussex (KSS) is our local air ambulance charity.

We hope we never need them, but every year thousands of people do. And if you do, they’ll be there to fight for your life.

Their helicopters are flying emergency rooms. When there’s a life-or-death call, they bring specialised doctors, paramedics and treatment to the scene, fast. And they don’t stop. 24/7, 365 days a year.

We believe that everyone affected by cancer deserves the highest level of care, support, and compassion. To achieve this we are committed to empowering individuals and easing their suffering with empathy and understanding.

We work together with the NHS to help make life better for cancer patients in Sussex – providing equipment, facilities and services that make a tangible difference for patients who are often on a difficult and stressful journey.

We strive to protect remaining wild populations of orangutans by providing support and funding for projects in Malaysian and Indonesian Borneo; and by raising awareness of the plight of this great ape across the globe. We are also authorised to work on behalf of the famous Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre

Rockinghorse

At Rockinghorse Children’s Charity, their aim is to improve the lives of sick children throughout Sussex. They are the official fundraising arm of the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital (the Alex) where they raise money for life-saving and cutting-edge medical equipment, while ensuring that children are treated in an environment better suited to their needs. We also support the Trevor Mann Baby Unit (TMBU) based at the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton and its sister site, the Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) at the Princess Royal Hospital in Haywards Heath. They believe no matter where they are, children should always be allowed to be children.Rockinghorse do not receive any government funding and so rely on the generous support of individuals, community groups, companies and trusts; people like you.
