Yes you can, this event is open to anyone who would like to attempt the course. We welcome individuals, couples, groups and families. 

Yes, this would be a great course to do as a ‘taster’ if you haven’t done a mud run before. 

We allow children aged 12 years and above are to run the course on their own if they wish.

This cannot be done before the event, but we will be allowing on the day name changes for a £10 admin fee per adult and £5 per child.

If you would like a special Mud Monsters Family Fun Run t-shirt these must be pre-ordered when you register. You will collect your t-shirt when you sign in at the registration desk on the day of the event. On the day you will be able to purchase our other Mud Monsters Run t-shirts and merchandise at our onsite shop but there will be no additional Family Fun Run t-shirts available.

Parking will be available onsite for £3 per car, cash only please. We donate a percentage of this money to the charity who will be overseeing the car park for us on the day.

Yes, we have a team of photographers that will be on course all day. All photos will be available to download for free after the race, so make sure you smile for them as you see them around the course. The link will be shared on our social media channels as soon as they become available and will be emailed to everyone shortly after.

There will be a selection of hot and cold food vendors as well as a range of drinks available on the day.

We will have toilets on site for runners and spectators. There will also be male and female changing tents for runners to change after the race. Please note there will not be any showers at our Family Fun Run event.

Yes, participants must be a minimum age of 4 years old (as of race day) to take part in our Mud Monsters Family Fun Run. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied on the course by an adult at all times.

Any child taking part must be signed in at the registration desk on the day by the adult/guardian who completed their online registration form.

The course is likely to be muddy, so we recommend wearing something you don’t mind getting dirty. Ideally something lightweight that will dry quickly. 

In terms of shoes we recommend trail shoes to allow best grip in the muddy conditions. Don’t be put off if you just have normally trainers though, these will be fine just be aware that things might get a little slippery out on the course and pay extra attention when on obstacles.

Please note, football boots (or similar) whether moulds, spikes or studs will not be allowed on the course.

Yes, there will be a key and bag drop area onsite.

Dogs are welcome but must be well behaved and on a lead at all times, dogs are not allowed on the course. Please note you must clean up after your dog.

We advise you to tell all children to meet at the First Aid tent should they get separated from you at any point. This is easy to find and right by the entrance to the event village. We do have a lost child procedure in place and they will be well looked after until you are reunited.
